Materials Needed

• Cardboard

• Craft knife

• Ruler and measuring tape

• Pencil and marker

• Hot glue gun & glue sticks (for quick bonding)

• Acrylic paint, Interior paint

• Printed cardstock paper

• Mod podge or school glue

Instructions


Step 1: Prepare and Strengthen the Legs & Rockers


Cut 8 pieces, 4 layers for each left and right leg & rocker piece.

Glue all 4 layers together using hot glue

Cover the holes on the cardboard with strips white paper using Mod podge.

Step 2: Prepare Front & Back Stretchers


Cut 8 pieces, 4 layers for each front and back stretchers.

 Cover the holes on the cardboard with white paper strips using Mod podge.

Let it dry completely.

Step 3: Attach stretcher to the legs & rocker


Attach the front stretcher between the front legs using hot glue.

Attach the back stretcher between the front legs using hot glue.

Hold in place for 30 seconds while the glue sets.

Once secure, apply super glue around the joints for extra stability.

Step 4: Prepare the seat and armrests


Cut 8 pieces 4 layers for each armrest piece

Cover the seat and armrests with Printed cardstock paper using hot glue and mod podge.

Step 5: Attach the Armrests to the Seat


Glue the armrests directly onto the seat using hot glue.

 Hold in place for 30 seconds while the glue sets.

Apply super glue along the joints for extra reinforcement. Let the structure dry completely before moving forward.

Step 6: Prepare and attach the Backrest


Cut 4 layers for the backrest and glue them together.

Apply hot glue to the back edge of the seat and armrests attach the backrest securely.

Step 7: Attach the Legs & Rockers to the Seat

Position the completed legs & rocker assembly under the seat and press them firmly against the seat bottom. Hold in place for 30 seconds until the glue sets.
