Crochet Bikini For 18 inch Doll

Video Tutorial

Materials:

- Crochet hook size 4.0 mm and 3.5 mm

- 4 Medium weight yarn

- Button

- Tapestry needle

- Scissors

Notes:

-This pattern is (US Terms)

-The chain at the beginning of each row does count as a stitch.

-To avoid the gap at the beginning of the row I use Alternate Turning Stitch instead of Ch3.

Abbreviations:

ch - Chain

dc - double crochet

dc3tog - double crochet 3 together

sl st - slip stitch

sk - skip

st(s) - stitch(es)

fpdc - front post double crochet

bpdc - back post double crochet

With 4.0 mm hook, Ch 55

Row 1 :[ch 3 (counts as 1 dc) 1 dc in each of the next 3 sts, 2 dc next st] - repeat [] = (68 dc) Turn

Row 2 :(ch 3 counts as 1 dc) dc next 10 sts, sk 14 sts, dc next 20 sts, Sk 14 sts, dc next 10 sts = (40 dc) Turn

Row 3 :(ch 3 counts as 1 dc)dc in each sts around(40 dc) Turn

*Change to 3.5 mm hook*

Row 4 :ch3 [fpdc next st, bpdc next st] -repeat [], dc in the last st.(40 dc)

*Continue working on the back of bikini Turn, Ch3, 7 dc, Fasten off

Sew in the buttons and weave in ends.

Crochet Little flower

Magic ring [ch2, 1dc, ch2, slst] Repeat 3 times, Pull the tail to tighten.

Crochet Little bow

ch 4, 2 dc into the first ch, ch3, sl st in the first ch, ch 3, 2 dc into the first ch, ch 3, sl st in the 1st ch.

With 4.0 mm hook, ch 21

Row 1 : ch3, dc3tog, dc next 13 sts, dc3tog, dc, turn

Row 2 : ch3, dc3tog, dc next 9 sts, dc3tog, dc, turn

Row 3 : ch3, dc3tog, dc next 5 sts, dc3tog, dc, turn

Row 4 : ch3, dc3tog, dc next st, dc3tog, dc, turn

Row 5 : ch3, dc next 4 sts, turn

Row 6 : ch3, dc next 4 sts, turn

Row 7 : ch3, dc next 4 sts, turn

Row 8 : ch3, dc, 2dc, dc next 2 sts.

Row 9 : ch3, 3dc, dc next 2 sts, 3dc, dc. turn

Row 10 : ch3, 3dc, dc next 6 sts, 3dc, dc. turn

Row 11 : ch3, 3dc, dc next 10 sts, 3dc, dc. turn

Row 12 : ch3, 3dc, dc next 14 sts, 3dc, dc. turn

1). Joining the front part to back with slst.

2). Change to 3.5 mm hook and continue working in round.

Round 1 : ch3, dc in each sts around, slst on top of ch3.

Round 2 : ch3,[ fpdc, bpdc ] Repeat [] slst on top of ch3.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

To Make Belt : chain 100
